At the end of the July, we held our very first 24-hour hackathon in the history of Synergy Codes. We all agreed that it was mostly about having fun, but also about not being afraid to fail if we learn some new things on the way. A hackathon means nothing but a real coding marathon (typically a 24-48…

Learning what is new in web development – Synergy Codes at Front-Trends 2016

Would you like to learn a recipe for most efficiently spent time? Take three skilled web developers from Synergy Codes, three days at Front-Trends 2016 conference and one big idea: self-development. Asia, Monia and Artur were our representatives and had an amazing time there – they learned what is new, exchanged their ideas with front-end experts from around the world and enjoyed some creative chill-out in the meantime. Christmas Eve supper is the most important celebration of the year and is normally reserved for the closest family. However, we decided to start Christmas together in a family-like atmosphere shortly before the real celebration at our homes. Our Christmas banquet menu was composed of all the must-haves of the Christmas tradition in Poland, including pierogi(es) stuffed with sauerkraut and mushrooms, cabbage rolls, croquettes, traditional Polish vegetable salad, red borscht and cheesecake. All of us contributed to food preparation…

Autumn Awayday at FreeFly Center- sometimes it’s nice to fly away from reality

Kasia: One would think that organizing the awayday for our Synergy Coders is the easiest part of my job, but I could not disagree more! Well, it is the most satisfying part (mainly due to their smiling faces after the event), however that was going to be far from simple. I gathered around me a team of people to whom the word ‘fun’ means something entirely different than to the rest of the world. There was one thing I was sure of – the chosen attraction had to be unique and memorable. From the very beginning I knew that a trivial game of paintball or a day spent in a waterpark wouldn’t be exciting enough for our…
